Joseph Corazzi

Joe Corazziknew very early on what he wanted to do with his life. Upon graduation from the University of New Mexico with his Bachelor's in Economics, he immediately set out to establish his one business. Things went very well in this regard, and soon Joe was the head of a company the likes of which no one had ever seen before: a satellite television company.

The company's innovative approach centered on using master antenna TV systems and satellite earth station technology. This technology was so enterprising that it was difficult for the average consumer to wrap their heads around the concept at the time. So Mr. Corazzi upped the stakes and went after corporate contracts. The gamble paid off, and soon the company was one of the first suppliers of hotel/motel satellite video entertainment using master antenna TV systems and satellite earth station technology. Building on this success, Joe Corazziwent on to own and operate multiple cable television and pay television systems throughout the southwest, eventually pioneering the first installation of 24-hour satellite television channel for hotel customers.

Perhaps one of Mr. Corazzimost notable achievements has been his involvement with Country Music Television (CMT). Mr. Corazzi co founded and financed CMT's development and launch while he was still the president of his satellite distribution company, Telestar Corp. His expertise and financing culminated with the network launching live at 6:19 PM CST, March 5, 1983.

Pioneered Multi-Channel cable and Multi-Satellite delivery of entertainment, voice, and data telecommunications.
